The Yealink SIP-T58W with Camera is a smart desk phone for people who want to see the person they are speaking to. It runs Android 9 on a 7-inch touchscreen you can tilt to suit your eye line, and the CAM50 camera in the box gives clear 720p HD video with a privacy shutter for when you are off camera. Yealink Noise Proof technology keeps office background noise out of your calls.

Setting it up is simple. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in, so the phone can sit anywhere in the office and pair with a wireless headset or your mobile. One network cable carries both power and internet where your switch supports it. You can run up to 16 lines, hold video calls with three people, and add cordless handsets later as the team grows. This suits managers and anyone on daily video calls rather than a basic handset for occasional use.

Yes. The Yealink SIP-T58W Pro with Camera ships with the Yealink CAM50 in the box, a 5-megapixel plug-and-play camera that mounts on the USB port on top of the phone. It captures 720p video at 30fps across a 75° field of view, so a seated caller stays in frame without a separate webcam or laptop. The tilt adjusts through 47°, letting you set the angle once for your desk height. A privacy shutter and LED indicator show clearly when the camera is live, which matters in shared offices.

The phone registers up to 16 SIP accounts, so one handset can carry a personal line, a shared department line, a sales queue and a reception line at the same time. There are 27 one-touch DSS keys you can assign to colleagues, queues, speed dials or busy lamp field monitoring, which shows at a glance who is free. Conferencing covers three-party video, or ten-party mixed audio and video with two video legs. That capacity suits managers, office administrators and receptionists juggling several calls in a day.

Yes. Dual-band Wi-Fi is built into the phone, covering 2.4GHz and 5GHz on IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, so it works at desks with no data point and in offices where running new cable is impractical. The 5GHz band helps in busy buildings where the 2.4GHz channels are congested. Bluetooth 4.2 is built in as well, supporting the BTH58 cordless handset, Bluetooth headsets and paired mobile phones, with one headset and one mobile connected at the same time. Two gigabit Ethernet ports remain available where a wired connection is preferred.

Yes. The phone draws Power over Ethernet to IEEE 802.3af class 3 through its dual-port gigabit connection, using 3.3W to 9W in normal operation. One cable then carries data and power, which keeps desks tidy and removes the need for a spare plug socket at every position. The second Ethernet port passes the connection through to a PC, so you still only need one data point per desk. The mains adapter is an optional extra, worth adding when your network switch does not supply PoE.

The T58W is the video model in the range. It runs Android 9.0 on a 7-inch 1024x600 adjustable touchscreen and includes the CAM50 camera, so you can take 720p video calls straight from the desk phone. The Yealink T54W is an audio-first handset with a smaller 4.3-inch colour display, physical keys rather than a full touchscreen, and no camera option. Both share Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 16 SIP accounts, so the real question is whether your team needs video. Choose the T58W where face-to-face calling matters and the T54W where voice quality alone is enough.

The T58W is a standard SIP handset supporting SIP v1 and v2, so it registers to most hosted PBX platforms and on-premise systems without special software. It handles the everyday features businesses expect, including hold, transfer, call park, call pickup, intercom, voicemail indication and call recording. Auto provisioning through PnP, Zero-sp-touch, TR-069 or HTTPS lets your provider configure the handset remotely before it arrives, so staff plug it in and start working. Pulse Telecom pre-provisions handsets for its own cloud platform and can advise on compatibility with a system you already run.

Yes. Adding the DD10K DECT dongle turns the T58W into a base station for up to four cordless handsets with four concurrent calls, pairing with the W73H, W53H, W56H, W59R, DDPhone and CP930W. That gives cover to warehouse staff, workshops or anyone away from a desk while keeping one extension number. Up to three colour-screen expansion modules connect by USB for reception desks that need more busy lamp field keys. The phone also supports DoorPhone features, including preview, monitoring and one-button door release.
